That was Bad

Well, there were a couple of stretches where we made it a bit hard for Gonzaga, but they really just had their way with us.



I've said it before, we only have two good players. And, for the life of me I don't understand why we can't find better 3 point shooters.

The last time we had a reliable 3 point shooter was in 2010 with Jimmer Fredette.

Yes, that was bad -- because this Cougar team is not very good and has no heart.

Yoeli needs to learn how to pass out of double teams. And he needs to act quicker. He can't spend 10 seconds every time backing down his defender when there will be help defense. He is quick. As soon as he gets the ball spin and go hard to the basket. And his defense his horrible. But yeah, he also has very little help.



I go the feeling that Gonzaga didn't even play their best either. Yet, we still can easily get 2nd place in the coference. Although does that really mean anything? Even with 2nd place WCC we're still borderline NTT. This is Gonzaga's conference and we're just living in it.

Oh and we did a double team on like our first or second defensive series and it surprised Gonzaga and we got a steal and then we never did it again all game.

All of which are behind BYU in the standings right now. No excuse for getting blown out against one of the best teams in the country. They should have played better for sure in that game, but they're showing enough heart in the WCC games overall to so far stay ahead of every team in the conference other than the Zags.

They should have played better for sure in that game, but they're showing enough heart in the WCC games overall to so far stay ahead of every team in the conference other than the Zags.

Give them a week--they'll find a way to inexplicably lose.
