Nope, WMU is not as talented as BYU. Do you remember John Beck's last game as a Cougar? It was against Oregon in the LV Bowl back in 2006 - the Ducks were superior in talent to BYU and a heavy favorite but they clearly did not care to be there - the result was a 30-8 BYU win. Emotion is everything.

BYU's O-line is not playing well today. Wilson has kept drives alive with his pocket movement and running, but our O-line is barely slowing those guys down and it's only a matter of time before it turns into more turn-overs or an injured quarterback.

I don’t think that’s a great comparison. Didn’t that BYU team win 11 straight (or something like that) to finish that season, finished ranked, and John Beck got drafted? I don’t think Oregon was a superior team.



I do agree that emotionless football is a key for losing though.

Well the was a pathetic 1st half of football from the offense. There wasn't a good sustained drive the oline looks unathletic, lazy and lost. The running game has ZERO production because of the oline and injuries. And speaking of injuries is anyone else sick of hearing about BYU and injuries. Year in and year out all we hear is injuries. WTF!

I’m with you there. It’s like no other team ever has injuries like we do. As to the game....I’m having a hard time staying awake. Boring.

What, watching BYU run for 3 yards on offense and rush 3 on defense is boring :sick:
