He committed to Coach Bobby Petrino at Louisville back in June--but then Petrino got fired in November. So he is re-evaluating his commitment. No guarantees, but has said very nice things after visiting Provo with his parents. He was visiting Louisville again this past weekend to meet the new coach and is now deciding. We'll know for sure in a couple of hours.

The numerous posts and videos by BYU fans is pretty amazing. One Kentucky fan posts "Come on over to the Big Blue Family. We would love to see you play in the blue and white." Then, he immediately posts a follow-up..."Blue and white of UK that is...."

Ellison Player Rating Updated. 247sports.com updated its player rating for Eric Ellison. His rating yesterday was N/A, presumably because they didn't know that he was a recruit/JC transfer. They rated him as a 3-star player with an .82 rating and now list him as the #20 for his position (which they list as CB), #34 recruit in California, and the #175 recruit in the nation!

I think Aidan Robbins had a lot of fun with the attention of social media during his recruitment, which smacks of immaturity. He will find an okay experience at Louisville. He may stay there, but if he wants a full package experience on character, academics, and athletics, he would come to the Y.



No sour grapes here, but the reality is that BYU does well to build men. Louisville is just another fun school like many others.
