Nephi Sewll transfer from Nevada

Great transfer landing by Sitake and crew. He was a 2 year starter at Nevada and after sitting out 2019 for his transfer window will be in the mix to take over for the graduating Ghanwoloku, Warner, Lee, etc in the defensive backfield.

One other storyline to watch is how this will affect the youngest Sewell boy, Noah. Noah Sewell is a 2020 4-star LB recruit at Orem High School who is currently the number-one rated recruit in the state of Utah. Noah has offers from pretty much everywhere, including Alabama, LSU, USC, Stanford, Washington, Florida State — pretty much every big name college football program. Getting Nephi to BYU means Noah will have a chance to team up with his brother for two seasons beginning in 2020.

It's always good to have a Nephi and Moroni on the team.

Now we need a Lehi. But I would take a Noah.

Word is this has changed. He wasn't considering Utah because they didn't have a scholarship for him. But CB guy says Utah lost a silent commit to Kentucky which opened up a scholarship so he is taking Utah's over BYUs. He won't be eligible to play until 2020 but is already enrolled at Utah.

That figures, no suprise what so ever.

So the master recruiter couldn't land this guy who came out on Twitter saying "Go Cougs, I'm coming to BYU". Interesting.
