He is going to be ripping up the sidelines next year. We are going to have such a great team!!!!

ONeill won our Utah game for us with those returns. We couldnt' move the ball. He did it for us.



Can't wait for the updated version. Each year he gets better and better. This coming year should be a good one.

Also looking forward to Chambers 3.0.

You definately have something to be proud of with him Ms. Chambers, on and off the field. The times I have listened to him being interviewed, he is always polite, respectfull and well spoken. I am also very excited for his last 2 years at BYU, I feel that the best is definately to come with him.

That fade TD catch reminds me of Michael Reed. Hope Chambers has two Reed-like years left in him!

What we haven't seen on that side of the field, is the qb making use of his height and leaping ability. We know OC can get off the line; but can he yank down the alley oop against shorter DBs?



I'd like to think so, but he hasn't been used like that yet.

If he can learn to not fumble every single game, and make the tough catches we all expect out of him then we will have something special. Until then he is just going to scare the hell out of me every time he touches the ball.

The first time I saw him, I thought, this kid is going to be something! I think this is going to be a breakout year for him. I'm salivating already for the coming season!

Chambers didn't lose a fumble after the FSU game so that's hardly "every single game." I get you wish he didn't fumble against FSU and Oklahoma, but to focus on those two fumbles to the exclusion of every other play he made is myopic.

Exactly. What the hell are you even talking about? Either you have something against Chambers or you don't know crap about football. Everybody loses a ball now and then. And Oneill lost two all year. That's it. I can't think of a receiver who made more clutch plays all year, in traffic no less, to extend drives than Oneill. The kid is something special and is going to be a force for BYU for the next two years.

It is hard for me to remember that he was just a sophomore this year. He plays older than he is if that makes sense. I keep thinking that we will be losing him soon but we still have two more years with him.

Seriously, OC is a stud, and he was only a sophomore this season! I have been impressed with the results so far and expect even greater things in the future- Senior Chambers should be even better than Senior Reed!

Sophomore Chambers is already better then Senior Mike Reed. Nothing against Reed but Chambers has better hands, is faster, and runs better routes already then Reed did as a Senior. Plus he is nearly as good of a blocker already. Having Chambers and Jacobsen just may make us all forget about Collie and Reed in a year or two depending on how the QB develops. Having said that, I don't see either Jacobsen or Chambers breaking Collies or Pitta's recieving records but the combination as a whole may be more explosive.

I know what you are saying :) but I didn't say we would forget about what collie did, I was saying that the combination of the 2 recievers will make us forget about the old combo. I think that Jacobsen and Chambers as a unit will be far better then the Collie/Reed unit was. I don't think we have a reciever in the program yet that will make us forget about Collie individually (maybe Apo).

Only way we this all happens is if Coach Anae decides to use his WR's different than he has the last 3 years. If he does, I expect those guys to really produce for BYU. They have the skill to. Just need to use them differently than we are now.
