Did I just see 2 blitzes on our first defensive possession?

Whether it was because or Wilson or whatever, BYU looks awake and fired up in this game. Good sign.

I guess they got all of the blitzing out of their system on the 1st drive.

Not sure if I like Kaufusi as a middle LB but I'll maybe it will work out...

This is easily the worst team we have played this year. Each run going for 10 yards.

RPO isn't going to work against Utah. They'll eat that up.

I hate Kaufusi at MLB. There is a reason that 6'11 300 lbs with zero lateral movement don't play that position. He is basically on a run spy, which nullifies him .

BYU is actually bringing pressure in this game. How freaking refreshing.

More pressure leads to an INT. Where has this defense been all year?

They may have a weak SOS but they are 6-1 and have been putting up great offense numbers against defenses like ours or better.

Put Corbin at DE and and immediately gets a sack.

Lol, their best win is a sub .500 Colorado State. They lost to Army.



We have been going against Top 25 teams. No comparison.

I will not be satisfied until I see Corbin play CB. Seriously, HI is not a very good team. But we are playing better. And I did see at least two blitzes and they made a difference!

Wilson’s mobility is a plus. I was amazed that there were plays where we had six freshmen in the game.

Halftime 28-3. I love the confidence I'm seeing from the Cougars.

It isn't just the blitzes, they are stunting and coming from different sides and rushing different guys on every play. They are confusing Hawaii's offensive line and getting pressure. This is something they haven't done most of the year. You don't have to blitz on every play to get pressure, you just have to bring it from different looks to confuse the QB and offensive line.

So why don't we dial back our aggressiveness after half time. That will be a good idea.

Someone please tell Wilson that he can throw the ball away instead of running out of bounds and losing yards.
