Which of these three has the best resume (just among these three)?

1. Kalani Sitake (2015) - Defensive coordinator for Oregon State University. OSU is coming off one of their worst years in school history, but Sitake wasn't coaching the players that he recruited. He guided one of the best defenses in the nation at University of Utah, but many say that Sitake was just Kyle Whittingham's puppet.



2. Paul Peterson (2018) One of the offensive minds in junior college football--JC is not known for great defensive play. Peterson has guided Snow College to winning seasons both of his years as head coach.



3. Jay Hill (2018) Hill has been the head coach at Weber State the past five years. The Wildcats have shown improvement each year. However, he was a player and assistant coach at Utah and that may be where is heart lies.



Peterson and Hill are two leading, realistic candidates to replace Sitake if he is let go. But if you compare those two with Sitake's 2015 resume, is either an improvemen?

Jay Hill.



Paul Peterson is at a lower level and has much less experience. He could make a decent position coach at BYU, but he's not ready for even a coordinator position at an FBS program.

None of those names move my meter. We've seen what Kalani can do. Paul Peterson, let's talk about him when he's done something worth talking about. Give him 5 more years. Jamie Hill is Utah's head coach in waiting. As soon as KW leaves J. Hill will be ready to step in and coach the U.



I still believe the right choice is the same as it was 3 years ago. Ed Lamb! No he's not LDS but you will not find a coach who loves and exemplifies all things BYU more then Ed. Look at what he did at SUU and I believe you will see he's the right person for the job. He should have taken the Defense over 2 games ago.

I disagree all he was doing was trying to keep a kid from transferring when they know they need him here for depth purposes. There isn't a coach out there that hasn't said something along these lines. Your being a bit harsh, it's coaches talk nothing more.
