Bold Prediction

Of course I suck at bold predictions. But the past two games have been sucky so my prediction should be in line with what's happening (not very logical I know):



1. Wilson will start the rest of the season



2. BYU will go undefeated the rest of the season



3. Fans will wonder why Wilson didn't start all year

While we see Wilson start at some point, about a .0005% chance of BYU winning out. But that's the least Sitake would have to do before I would even think about wanting him to stay. As always, half the season to me is beating Utah.

BYU won't beat the utes this year. Not a snowballs chance in hell. After Wisconsin and watching the utes against Washington, I figured if the team kept improving and played a good game we could do it. Not now.

I like the optimism. Those are bold.



I understand why everyone is clamoring for Wilson, but we saw him play in the final 3 min of a blowout. USU was hardly bringing the heat at that stage of the game.

I seem to remember the defense giving up 45 points and not being able to get USU off the field in the second half. How is Wilson going to fix that?

This team thrives on positive energy, and quits on both sides of the ball when the energy is low. That's one way Wilson could possibly help both the offense and the defense.

Oh jeez. If you say so.



this sounds like 2016 when fans were clamoring for Mangum to come off the bench and replace Hill.

Consider me jaded, but I don't think this team is good enough for a QB to make that much of a difference.

To me it's not even so much that Wilson is better than Mangum right now but that we are playing for next season so that Wilson will be that much better for 2019 game 1.

If we are "playing for next season" already, then the coaches really need to be fired. We still have a ton of games to play including our biggest rival.

If we could beat Arizona and Wisconsin and lose to Cal and Utah State, we could lose to Hawaii and NIU and beat Boise State and Utah. College football is a weird sport. I kind of expect a 5-7 final record though at this point.
