BYU is a great 2nd half team.

It's because we're deep.

Also humorous, considering there have been 3 or 4 games this season in which BYU has made it into the 30's before the other team made it into double-digits.

I agree. If BYU doesn't jump on them early, they wear them down. Either way, they make it really rough on the opponent's offense.

BYU opponents are shooting .386 on the year from the floor. From behind the arc they are .308. Opponents' points available percentage is .416 and their true shooting percentage is .476.



Conversely, BYU is shooting .513, .420 and their PAP and TS is .538 and .623.



Put all those numbers together and you have an excellent offensive team, an excellent defensive team and an 18-1 record. BYU is the best team in the conference. I repeat my prediction of a 15-1 conference record. I haven't decided which road game we drop.

I could see is dropping on in the Pit, or at UNLV, but I hope not.

Been noticing this as well and I'm loving it. In the past we haven't been that great of a 2nd half team. I'm really loving Rose's in-game adjustments. This has been a bit of a weakness for him in the past and it's looking like he's turned it into a strength. Guess someone has been reading Ether Chapter 12.

...and again with Wyoming BYU shows that they are a second half team.

Most of the time, if people soundly beat a team in the second half, they win.

Let's all hope that the cougars finish this game better than they finished the 1st half.

Man, BYU made it a lot closer than it needed to be, but they got the W.

I've been saying it all year any time you win on the road,you've accomplished a very difficult thing. Huge props to the Cougs. They are a great team that doesn't fold.



Like I said last week too, BYU is also the most mentally strong team in the MWC. They have a stronger will to win than anyone else.
