The bigger concern USU

So this week I believe everyone is expecting a lose against Washington. Too me the bigger concern is the following week against Utah State. I watched most of the game against Air Force last night and Utah State's offense does everything good that BYU struggles with. They are not going to play straight up smash mouth football. I believe I heard last night that Utah States average scoring drive is 4 minutes long. They go fast and throw it down field. There receivers have good hands they have good speed and run pretty decent routes. If our DB's cant stop them they will throw all over this secondary.



They are 31st in the country in passing at 284.5 yard a game.

They are 51st in the country in rushing at 190.5 yards a game.

They are 7th in the country in scoring average scoring 51.5 yards a game.

Defensively they are 62nd giving up only 23.8 points a game.



We can all stand back and say ya but other then Michigan State they haven't played anyone.

1st they were in the MSU game the whole way.

2nd BYU just played an FCS school scored 30 points but didn't even get 300 yards of offense.



This game scares the he11 out of me. Losing to USU again and at home makes everything they have done up to that point absolutely meaningless. USU will be up for this game and ready to prove to everyone they are the better team.



Also did I mention Utah State has a BI this week. They have 2 weeks to get healthy and build a game plan for BYU. How convenient! Thank you Mountain West schedulers.

It's going to be a tough game. They have a bye while we have a short week after Washington. No doubt BYU has been circled on their calandar. Fortunately the game is in Provo.
