Position rankings

I went to Herald Extra for position rankings. They didn't have them. How do you guy think the different positions did.

I'm not going to get into each position, but these are my grades:



Coaching: A. Away win against a top 10 team doesn't happen without some prep and coaching. Job well done! The trick play was a nice call and perfectly executed and the defense did its part too.



Offense Running Game: A

6.8 ave! OL seemed to get great push. Canada showed both speed and power and toughness. The end around plays overall were effective even though they sometimes seem to be called too much.



Offensive Passing Game: B-

1 TD vs 0 Ints helps the grade here. I don't recall many drops. But that 34.1 QBR and 4.0 ave is atrocious. The QB managed the game and we won but let's not pretend that the passing game was pretty.

Run Defense: B+

Allowing 200 total rushing yards keeps this from being an A but this was a great effort. Just a 4.7 ave and Heisman candidate Taylor was largely kept in check with "just" 117 yards. With some exceptions, our guys were not bullied around by Wisconsin's All-American OL.



Pass Defense: A-

Didn't give up the long ball with just one pass play over 20 yards. 0 TDs vs 1 Int and a QBR of 47.6. Had a PI call that was bogus and maybe a make up call later.
