Why does BYU so often do things in a non-conventional way? I guess they're taking the being a "peculiar" people to heart. Frankly, I thought any team going to five team captains was a bit much. I believe three is sufficient.

Props to Butch Pau'u for going from being told he's not good enough and should transfer from BYU by the coaching staff to being named a captain.

I was hoping MLP would be named a captain. Not that he deserves it--I just like the words "Captain Moroni"

If it takes that to make him have a bounce-back season then I'm glad it happened. Butch was pretty meh last season.

I'm pleased to learn that the football team's leadership council has 16 players, and not just a measly 8.
