Kyle Collinsworth = Mavs Starter

KC has cracked the starting lineup in Dallas.



Like Davies in Philly a few years back, it's on a team that is intentionally tanking, but hopefully KC plays well enough to secure his spot on the roster going forward (years 2 & 3 of his contract are not guaranteed).

Amazing that some BYU fans thought he shouldn't be on the team (BYU), or wasn't a good athlete.

I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who thought he "shouldn't be on BYUs team". He was a great "athlete". What a lot of us didn't understand was using KC at PG. By the end of his senior year he did alright, but I think it took away from his development and took away from the development of BYUs backcourt.

Was super glad KC was at BYU. He still played out of position, which as BroncoBot points out, probably hurt his development.



KC isn't playing PG in the NBA.



It took him a season or two in the D/G league to work on his outside shot. Something he should have been working on in college playing as a 3, not a 1.



Oh well...



Glad he's making a name for himself. Nice to see someone from BYU get some NBA minutes. Hope he sticks and uses this opportunity to further show he belongs in the NBA.
