Years ago he was HC at Washington.

New assistant coach is a former head coach at Washington State and was just at GU.

Pepperdine has some good athletes. Bit more size on their team and they would have taken SMC to the woodshed.

Now all the other schools need to go out and get great coaches so Gonzaga stays. I think that's all it will take. Facilities upgrades will help but coaches are what really matter.

Now SD has promoted their new head coach. Pope was in the running but did not get it. I don't know if he will be good but had a decent post season. They also return all of their players but one so should be decent next year.

SD had a decent team this year and some good talent. Will be interesting to see if they improve.
