2018 OL Preview

They better be good, but after what I've seen the last decade, I'm not drinking the koolaid.



My guess is slightly improved, but still not very good.



If the Oline is bad, there should be no reason to have Grimes as OC. This will be a huge make or break.

Give the line time. I have full confidence that Grime can get the line to be very good again. Give him a chance to recruit some very good players this year too.

Grimes may deserve time, but 5 wins or less and they're all canned.

The state of things is that a four year starter on the OL was not good enough to even be drafted. That is it right there. Hopefully things change but until they do.....put me down as skeptical.

Will believe it when I see it.

Says Hoyt looks like NFL player. Hoge should eventually get drafted. If Lui gets healthy that could be a 3rd.

I can't envision a scenario in which Hoge ever gets drafted, but I'd love to be proven wrong on that front!

He was 4 star from ND. He's got good coaches now. He's got a very good shot at it.

I have definite hope that our o-line will find themselves this year. I wouldn’t call it confidence, but I am holding on to hope.

I have to admit I had a brain fart and thought you were originally referring to the QB, Beau Hoge, not paying attention this was about the OL. So strike that, I could see Tristen working himself into a draft spot.

How many Tanners and Hoges do we have on the team? Sometimes it gets confusing.
