125.

Since this game is probably never going to be in doubt, I thought I'd mix up the conversation leading up to the game.

Air Force is averaging 63 ppg, BYU is averaging 85. Air Force like to slow it down, but is playing without C Mike McClain (concussion; 7 ppg), Sammy Schafer (concussion; 7 ppg), Grant Parker (pelvis injury; 17 ppg) and Taylor Stewart (wrist; 4 ppg).

BYU likes to speed it up, but is playing without G Jimmer Freddette (kissing disease; 21 ppg).

Air Force has lost at home this season to Northern Colorado and Northern Arizona by 24 and 8 points respectively. BYU has won on the road against Hawaii, Fresno State, Arizona, and UTEP by 18, 5, 30 and 6 points respectively.

Air Force has won at home this season against Western State by 9, Dickson State by 18, Charleston Southern by 10, North Carolina Central by 12, Prairie View by 34, Cal Davis by 12 and Texas Pan American by 7. BYU has lost on the road this season only to USU, by 10 points.

I say under. BYU in the 70s, Air Force in the low 40s.

I'm looking at this game as a chance for the bench to continue to get meaningful minutes on the floor with a motivated and decent but ultimately weak opponent. AFA is going to play a disciplined game and will never roll over, I hope that translates into a great scrimmage where the team can play loose but without having the other team playing loose as well. A great opportunity for Rose to evaluate the team mid-season and make a few adjustments.

BYU by 12.

BYU 75, Air Force 50 sounds about right to me.

Hmmm...AF really does slow the game down. I don't think we've ever put up a lot of points against them except for that one year when 3/4 way through the game Hansen had more points than the entire AF team. I'm going to go with BYU 68 and AF 48.

I too hope the bench players get more playing time. They need it. We've been a bit sloppy lately, turning the ball over way too much and this will give them a chance to learn to take care of the ball more.

Last year I almost put $20 down on AFA to win the conference tourney; they were a 1/1000 shot and I could have used an extra twenty-grand.
