BYU is turning its sites on Miss State. so it is time for us to do the same. Here are important facts about the Great State of Mississippi (with some editorial liberties ;) )
Mississippi became the 20th state on December 10th 1817. It would have joined sooner, but members of Congress could not get past the âppâ part of the Stateâs spelling and the incessant giggling that ensued in order to put the stateâs admission to a vote.
Mississippi has 82 counties, all of which have at least one thriving weight watchers franchise.
The state flag of Mississippi could be described as a little bit of the Confederate flag and a little bit of the French flag. Itâs state motto follows: Give us enough time and weâll surrender!
