This is the worst defense we have played so far this year.

No better time for a bye week. Hopefully a week off and opponents who aren't ranked will be a formula for not being embarrassed every week. :blush:

Hopefully this shuts up the "Sit Tanner" crowd. Beau Hoge isn't ready for primetime yet.

It's a difficult thing to win against A+ teams when your team is A-, possibly B+.

None of our coaches are named Harry Potter. They don't have magic wands.

I don't think I'd call us an A- or B+ right now. Unfortunately we're a solid D. Except we had no D today so that might drop us to D- or F. Just not cutting it at any position group.

I think we are seeing the level of coaching that we are paying for. 1st time head coach, first time offensive coordinator, first time defensive coordinator, first time RB coach, previously fired WR coach, etc. I had hoped we would at least see better recruiting and more fired-up play on the field.

Tanner is much better, at least at this stage of their development.



Wisconsin didn't even press cover. They were 8-10 yards deep all game. Tanner would have been licking his chops, after the last two defenses he faced.

The secret is out, put 8 in the box, keep everything in front of you and force our passing game to make plays, which it can't. I'm worried that we aren't going to be able to beat Utah state at the pace our offense is progressing.
