Note to Boise State, it's players, coaches, fans and local media: Be very careful of the hype that will inevitably come during the off- season, and the beginning of next season. It can cause an entitlement syndrome that can make a team, capable of going all the way, begin to think that it will just "happen."

the syndrome can be exacerbated by big victories early in the season, and can cause the team to forget that, not only do they need to work hard and enthusiastically, but they also need to be a team and have fun. When this syndrome is at it's height, teams quit playing with heart, and if they should slip, may become so discouraged and lethargic, that they will go on to lose to other teams, not of their caliber. It's becomming a vague memory, but I think that I have seen this malady overtake a team before, and I would hate to see it happen to another.

Hard to argue with that. Wow, all but 1 starter....

But they get to open at Va Tech, ROFL I can't wait till they lose.

I dont see how you put them higher than bama. I think the first poll should come out about week 4 or 5 myself.

I personally would love to see them beat VTech and Oregon State, but lose to Wyoming in Laramie.

Next year is they year BSU will lose a game, maybe two.



Its TCU's year again to go to the BCS if they can keep winning.

That would be an ideal scenario.

I think 2. They will lose their edge with all the love they are not getting. Easier to attack when disrespected. They lose at VT, and either OSU or Wyoming. No one in the WAC will threaten them. The WAC blows.

This is the problem/advantage of playing in the WAC, ALL of the meaningful (out of conference) games ARE early in the season and then you CAN just coast through the conference. Then you get yourself WAY up for your bowl game and boom, undefeated.

They won't be higher than 'Bama, but they return more starters by far.



Going undefeated again is going to be easy for them.
