Mendenhall & Whittingham are from Utah, grew up in Utah, now coach in Utah at what could be considered life-long dream jobs. Both could be very content to coach at their schools until they retire.

Patterson & Petersen are not from their schools, are not from those communities and could be looking for a bigger job one day.

Cowards or keeping options open?
