timmyboyHard to say where BYU will end up come Monday. There were 11 ranked losses this week and will be at least one more tomorrow (and potentially more). However, two of those teams (Georgia Tech, Wisconsin) lost to unranked teams but beat top-ranked teams later in the week. What do you do with those teams? At this point, my prediction is that BYU will end up between #18 and #20 in the AP poll. There will be a lot of chaos, however.
BYU is definitely in elite company - there are only 9 one-loss teams remaining and 3 zero-loss teams. Jimmer Fredette is a known name for sportswriters and they will know that he sat out tonight and BYU still won. Additionally, exposure in certain major news outlets has helped. There is an outside chance the Cougars get a big boost from the big wins this week and jump into the top 15.
