BYU Gets a Pulitzer

At least the Salt Lake Tribune got one for its coverage of BYU's title IX and campus rape issues.

It's a big deal to be nominated and considered for a Pulitzer. It's a giant "step up" to actually win. Congrats to the Salt Lake Tribune. These recognitions are few and far between. Per the article, it's 2nd Pulitzer given to the SL Tribune in 150 years. That's a long path between Pulitzers'. Regardless of the topic. Not a good reflection on BYU, I guess.

they couldn't find a better school to cover on these issues... like BAYLOR???!!!

It seems to have brought positive change to BYU, so worth it.

Not just BYU. Didn't the Trib reporting also detail issues at Utah, Weber and Utah State and all the schools are making positive changes to protecting sexual assault victims.
