Offseason roster changes

C/FB Quin Ficklin (walk-on) - Transfer to Utah State

So we saw the twitter posts indicating he was transferring. Loyal Cougars updated their list of departed players to mention something about team discipline. In either case he is gone from the roster for 2017.



TE Troy Hinds - Retired due to injury

Hinds appeared in 3 games in his redshirt sophomore season in 2016. However, his hip injury reportedly continues to linger and will not allow him to continue playing football. His departure opens up a scholarship spot for 2017.

Sad to lose Troy we were so hopeful to see great things from him.
