Final Fiesta Bowl Thoughts

Did Fox contract out with the MTN to cover this game? The camera work was atrocious--camera following the fake hand offs; the direction horrible--cameras covering fans while play commencing; and the commentary inane--TCU called BSU, BSU called TCU, facts wrong (PEttis called fastest receiver--he's not Titus Young is the fastest by a long shot) Man it stunk....and if I have to see the TCU pom pom girls doing their dance one more time--did you get the sense that they had no clue ever what was going on on the field or what the score is?) or the beastly BSU cheer girls--I will hurl



Man AT&T and Verizon hate each other--enough with the same commercials though! And if Ford does one more F-150 is a smart truck ad, I'm going foreign!

I hope the undergrad student who did the MWC ad for the game for his final class project got a D-....how amateurish can you get? Sheesh!



Why did TCU come out looking like a bunch of undisciplined thugs?

My final thought on the game is for those of you who do or have lived in Boise. Are all young women there as outrageously unattractive as they made it seem? Any time the cameras found BSU women, whether fans or cheerleaders, or flag girls, they were more trollish than the realists (even past the point where they could be considered sweet spirits!). While the TCU women-folk all seemed quite fine and normal. My wife even made a comment that she felt really bad for the young men in Boise if those are their choices.

Wouldn't know--my wife is a Babraham Lincoln and that's all i know ;)

It's funny that this is the topic of conversation over at one of the other forums I frequent that discusses sports logo and uniform design. Consensus there is that the Metroplex is famous for having beautiful girls, so it's that the TCU coeds came out looking okay.



My wife started actually laughing when they showed the Boise coeds...

Anyway, I know from growing up in eastern Idaho that the Madison HS (Rexburg) was known for having the best-looking girls. Them and the panhandle schools (Lewiston, CDA, etc.), so it could be a grass is greener thing. But no one ever said anything about Boise girls though.

I have had this same conversation with half a dozen people lately, it seems. Negative advertising never seems to work with politicians either...

My sister graduated from a Boise high school last year and knows a couple of girls on the BSU squad (one of which she singled out was actually kinda attractive). Her comment: "It seems like the only criterion to be a cheerleader at BSU is that you were a cheerleader in high school." Her words, not mine.

I grew up in Boise quite a while ago. No problem then! Wanna see my year book?
