That's not really the percentage of how much of a chance we have with each guy. That's just how many of their "analysts" think we'll get the guy. With the 0% and the 100% guys, it's probably just one guy that thinks that and no one else has yet to put in an opinion on and so with Ah You, 1 out of the 3 guys who have opinions about him thinks he will go to BYU. The percentages really mean nothing in my book. It's fun to look at though :P

Well I guess it is the best that we have to go on. I assume these analyst have a better idea than anyone else.

Scout just updated their rankings for all 2017 prospects.. . bunch of our guys got boosted from 2 star to 3 star status. Here are the guys who were 2-stars that are now 3 stars:



Ryan Rehkow - now ranked the #12 kicker in the class.

Paul Finaua- now ranked the #102 guard in the class.

Tyler Batty - Ranked the #134 DE in the class (I was always surprised he wasn't ranked higher, he was highly sought after).

Tongi Langi - #143 Safety

Ammon Hanneman - #145 Safety

Keenan Ellis

Preston Lewis



Class rank has moved from 80 to 71. Not pick up some studs this weekend to move us up into the 60's or higher.

Who's left on the recruiting board?



DL Tufele - narrowed list to 5 schools - USC, Ohio State, BYU, Utah, Michigan. BYU is a longshot. 2 of his teammates committed to BYU last weekend.

DB Ah You - Seems to be looking at UCLA, Washington, Stanford, and BYU. He is coming on an official visit next weekend

WR Martin - He hasn't tipped his hand, but has offers from Notre Dame, Michigan, Iowa, Michigan State, Oregon, and Wisconsin. Super longshot

WR Asemota - decommit from OSU. It seems to be down to BYU and OSU.

OL Unutoa - All his visits are complete. Virginia, OSU, Utah, and WSU are his other schools he's considering. It probably comes down to BYU and Utah.

DL Tofa - Seems to be narrowed down to BYU, Utah, UCLA and Oregon. Coming this weekend for an official visit

DL Fauatea - It's between Oregon State and the Utah schools

LB Lolohea - He seems to be favoring BYU, Utah, and Washington. He loved his official visit. His brother is coming to BYU.

LB Hola - Has offers from BYU, Hawaii, and Utah State.

LB Fakahua - Deciding between a Utah State QB offer or to play another position at BYU. Visiting Utah State this coming weekend

DB Smith - It seems to be between BYU, Oregon State, SJSU, UCLA, and Nevada. He just completed his OV last weekend.

DB Gunter - Deciding between New Mexico, Wyoming, and BYU. BYU is the leader



Unknown whether offer is still valid

WR Bates - offers from Colorado State, Hawaii, Oregon State, and BYU

WR L Davis - offers from Hawaii, SJSU, and BYU

WR A Davis - offers from Hawaii, SJSU, and BYU

WR Freytes - BYU is his only offer

What amazes me is that the schools listed above all would hold a scholie at the leisure of these athletes.



I wonder how many actually have the ability to wait until these moments to make this decision and possibly leave their host schools without a commit. Jay Tufele, a 5-star--YES, the rest, all 3-star players, I'd be surprised if they weren't told they need to let the coaches know by tonight or the scholie is gone.

According to scout tonight, Jay Tufele has narrowed his list to 3--Utah, USC, and Ohio State. I don't think that is a shocker--but it appears BYU is out for him.
