WCC starts #14 BYU #76 and in the 3rd spot. Conference went 7-2 last night. I like that the dregs won a game which is more than they've done in the past.

WCC has moved up to #8 and past MWC. WAC at #10 with UVU headlining the WAC.

I know it's always a moving target, but looking at that link now on Friday morning:

First up Santa Clara



Record: 6-7

Best win: at Valparaiso (87-80 2OT)



Worst loss: vs. UC Davis (63-58)



Fast fact: Brownridge is one of the most exciting players in the league and should be able to cause a lot of headaches for opponents. The Broncos are headed by first-year coach Herb Sendek.

Good game for BYU, probably the best played of the season on both sides of the ball. It was nice to see that in the first conference game. At LMU Saturday is big now, but we will win if we keep the same mindset as last night.

I read that Rose said Nick Emery played like his brother on defense. He held Brownridge to 8 points and 2 of 8 shots.

At St. Mary's would be a great win. I think it's possible. SMC is very good, but BYU if they're at their best have and can win there. But LMU tomorrow in some ways is even more important to avoid a bad loss. And actually, LMU isn't that bad. They have a winning record. They're better than Santa Clara. BYU can have another shot at SMC in Provo if they don't win next week.

BYU simple cannot lose to anyone not named Gonzaga or St. Mary's.

SC beat Vapo so I think this is a decent win though they have a poor RPI.

BYU looking like garbage so far today on the road.

2nd half is better. Down 3 with 3 minutes to go.

We pulled it out. I thought LMU played well and is improved over last year.

We went from losing by 16 to a 5 point win. Good fight by our guys.
