It just proves what we in the Big Ten have known for year--the Rose Bowl isn't so scary when USC isn't in it.



I'm surprised that the top three Big Ten teams swept their bowls. I thought for sure that they'd drop at least 1, with 2 losses (Rose and Capital One) being more likely.

I was also really pulling for Northwestern over Auburn. They had every chance in the world to win that game, and the Big Ten would have had a more amazing bowl season. They beat some pretty good teams:

Georgia Tech

Oregon
