AP Top 25

The weekly AP Top 25 is usually released on Sunday at 2pm ET.



However because of Hurricane Matthew, the Georgia vs South Carolina game was postponed. It will be played today (Sunday) at 2:30pm ET.



The LSU vs #18 Florida game was postponed with no makeup game announced. I have read this game might be cancelled. We'll see.



The AP Top 25 poll will be released tomorrow (Monday) at 12:30pm. There should be a lot of movement as 6 of the Top 25 lost.

If we finish 10-3 we would certainly finish ranked.



If we lose to Boise and finish 9-4 we still might finish in the top 25. We would probably need to play a 11 win SDSU team in the Poinsettia Bowl to make it happen.

Win this week and we could start getting some votes.

Agreed. I just wish Michigan St. was still ranked in the Top 25. Week 4 the Spartans were ranked 8. If we had crushed a #8 team ..... Yowza!!!! Ah well. It looks like we have the Cougar "O" cooking with gas now. Let's hope the Coug train keeps rolling. Vegas has the Y as 4 point favorites right now (vs Miss St.). The next 2 weeks: Mississippi St. (home) and Boise St. (away) are CRITICAL. Must win ...... Go Cougs!
