Why BYU Will Beat Michigan St.

What are your reasons why BYU will beat MSU?

We're due for an improbable win.

BYU will finally put a complete game together offensively and defensively. That is why they will win.

Confidence baby, this team has heart. Time for a statement win on primetime tv!

Michigan State is overrated this year. Momentum is on our side. We will see an improved overall performance from BYU, building off of successes and lessons from the Holy Toledo game. Also, BYU's colors are better than Michigan State's. All of this points to a W for the Cougs.

Tuiloma will play more of the game. There is a rumor that one of the DL is out for the season. Do not know who it is if true.

I'm feeling optimistic about the MSU game. Earlier, I had thought that Toledo would be easy, and that we would surely lose to the Spartans. Now things appear very much different. Toledo's offence is for real, with perhaps the best balance and execution that BYU will face this year. I'm not too confident that MSU would beat them as things are right now. I think that the Spartans would end up in a big shoot out with them like we did, with the outcome dependent on who had the ball last.

Call me a negative nelly but I think Michigan St will thump us. We're at their place, we're missing some key guys on defense, and they'll be playing with a chip on their shoulder. I think we'll perform better than when we got shut out at Michigan but we lose. Hope I'm wrong.

Well, at least their beasty Dtackle is out for first half of game bc of a targeting call.



Yep. Call me pessimistic but MSU will have a chip on their shoulder after two losses and will comeback very focused and we will lose this in the trenches. They will shut down BYus run game and the throw game isn't good enough yet to carry the O.



Plus, BYU is down Laulile for whole game and Tautu for first half.



I don't see a win here. Msu has the speed and strength, and will have the game plan to keep Jamal and Taysom from getting to the edges, unlike Swiss cheese Wholly Toledo; and they will press cover our wussy WRs and it will be similar to Michigan all over again. Maybe we keep it close like at ucla, but Jamal couldn't run against them bc our Oline was overpowered.

I don't know Michigan State's team well, but my co-worker, who is a Michigan Alum and follows State'a status, could not be much happier with the way State's year is going. He is looking forward to what he hopes will be an absolute pummeling by Michigan when it plays State. Anyway, he says State is missing some key defensive players for the BYU game. H is rooting for BYU to take State down. I don't recall the names he mentioned of the players that will not play. Yes they can if the D plays like it did the first 3 games of the season. BYU will beat them handily. The only problem is will the D play aggressive and tough like the first 3 games or will they play soft and pliable like in the WVU and Toledo games.



Only time will tell.

All I care is that they DID IT!!!
