I was listening to the post-game as I drove home from my Dad's building watching Priesthood. Kyle said he was talking to the ref and told the ref that if the clock doesn't stop after this play, he's going to call a timeout. So the ref called timeout.

If you want to call a timeout, call a timeout when you want the timeout. Don't talk about timeouts to an official before you actually want the timeout. All you do is sow confusion.

Unlike Sitake who actually had a valid point when BYU defense could have ended the game before the TD and the fumbled 2 point conversion that somehow got converted... sickening moment.

No, I think he was yelling it at the refs just like KS was. They cost him a TO and refused to give it back. Because of that it limited what he could do. Again, I am pretty sure he was yelling at the refs on that one.

Yup. The video vs the whole context looks like he was indeed yelling at the refs. Although I think KS had a much bigger beef.
