Fiesta Bowl MVP

= TCU's receivers



Cut slant route short on second drive = BSU pick-six

Try to catch the back end of the ball on a flag route during 4th quarter = incompletion that should have been easiest TD ever.

Tip the ball in the air while double-covered during two-minute drill = game ending interception

The worst player of the night was Dalton, he gave it away.



I also think the TCU coaches enjoyed the break too much.



BSU did a great job exposing Dalton's weakness...thought.



I Expect HIGHLY that BYU will be scout this game and BYU WILL BEAT TCU next year.



BYU either goes 12-1 next year at best (FSU will never be a team we beat)



more realistically 11-2, 10-3 etc...but TCU just crashed and at least 1 coach is leaving them.

Kerley was the best thing going for the Frogs tonight overall with his special teams performance, but offensively the bright spot was Dalton making the passing game work in the absence of any semblance of protection or running game despite his receivers screwing the pooch all night long.

That last interception was off of the receivers helmet. I would not fault him.

If you hit your receiver in the helmet, that's a pretty good throw. Sorry, but your job is to 1. catch the ball 2. prevent an interception. If it's anyone's fault it's the receiver's.

TCU had the worst hands in this game that I've seen in a long time. Even without anything resembling a running game, they still would have won if they had any hands at all.

I counted 5 dropped passes by TCU receivers. Easily the MVP's for BSU in this game.

I'd give it to the BSU offensive line. Moore NEVER got sacked--incredible game plan to work around a freshman and keep Hughes off Moore and BSU outrushed TCU...Unbelievable

That's what happens when you run the SAME ridiculous run play over and over again. QB draw to the right for 0 or 1 yards. Let's try it again! It's gotta work SOME time right?

Boise's punter was their MVP. He threw the fake punt for their longest offensive play of the game, was consistently pinning TCU deep, and pinned them on the 1 yard line with just over a minute to go. He made the two plays that proved to be the difference in the game.

That was a terrible pass by the quarterback. You can't float a pass like that on an out-route. Right when he let that ball go I thought it was going to be intercepted. His receiver was open, had he thrown the ball low and on a rope it would have been an easy completion and out of bounds. Instead the defense had time to recover and break up the pass. The ball went off the receiver's shoulder pad because he was hit in the back by the defender when the ball got there.



Sad to say, but Dalton looked a little like Max did when we played TCU last year.

I disagree. worst player of the game was as sno said the receivers. dalton put it wher eit needed to be enough to win. they didn't do their job. THEY PLAYED HORRIBLE!

Dalton looked like a joke as the MWC Offensive Player of the Year. His throws were terrible all night long, even aside from the 3 interceptions.



Why TCU abandoned the run, despite averaging almost 4 yards a pop, I'll never know.

I watched the 2 pics and you're right, the WRs look lazy and dropped easy balls. Also, I thought the DBs did a poor job as well.

I stand corrected. I thought the announcer said it was a 39-yard game last night. I guess I misheard and then misremembered. Regardless, it was still the punter who had two of Boise's key plays last night.
