Is JT back?

With JT having a good game against a bad team in Eastern New Mexico, is he back or did he only shoot well because it was a bad team? He had been missing wide open shots as well as taking bad shots before this game. I didn't see this game so I don't know how good he looked. Was this the game he needed to get him back on track or was it meaningless?

JT was hitting open shots. I think that was a very good sign. He also has been much more selective in his shooting the last several games.



So the answer to the question of whether JT is back is: ask us again Thursday morning.

Of course we'll know for sure thursday morning, but how do you think he'll play vs UNLV?

I don't think he'll go 6-7 again. But it was great to see that kind of shooting from JT. Personally i can see him chipping in 8-12 points. We're going to need his rebounding against the Rebels and any scoring he can provide will be most welcome. I don't think he'll have a great game, but I don't think he'll have a poor game either like he's been having through much of this year.

Just play solid and hit a high percentage instead of going for a lot of points. I would rather see layups instead of 3's.

I think what we see with JT coming off the bench are less of the lapses that cost us in games. He plays more focused and doesn't take his minutes for granted.

He's a very talented shooter, passer, and defender.



Dave Rose has done a great job keeping this bipolar talent productive.
