Utah State offers the wrong recruit

Embarrassing move by USU coaches, texting a recruit to let them know they were offering him a scholarship and then following that up with another text saying, oops, we meant that for someone else.



USU fans are up in arms blasting BYU and the Church over it.

They are upset that their coach made a terrible mistake and handled it very poorly, so of course the lash out at any easy target, and no target is easier for sports fans than a religious university, because they are always self-righteous.

Since Boney pointed out how stupid they look, they're turning it on him and BYU for "making fun of the recruit" and "being self-righteous" (which is apparently the equivalent of the left calling someone "racist" or "homophobe" when they have nothing). Little brother needs to learn to laugh at himself a little.

I like how they are calling out BYU fans to "leave the poor kid alone!" and not make his plight a public laughing matter....after the kid himself posted it on twitter for all the world to see.

Seems like as good place as any....

Exactly, I haven't seen any BYU fan show anything but dismay and empathy for the recipient.
