This may be simply a matter of them being a different (lesser) conference because of realignment, an indication that the networks will concentrate their efforts on power conferences or the result of reduced subscriber fees.
Should be interesting over the next few years as contracts, big and small, come up for renewal.
If the networks all decide to make low ball offers, the conferences are in for a rude awakening.
