Trump a disaster for the Nation and Republicans

Never before has there been a candidate running with such high poll numbers. Unfortunately they are negative/will definitely not vote for numbers.

Trump very well could be disaster in the General Presidential election in Nov. But, if he gets the GOP nomination - I will support him and vote. Hillary must be stopped. Hillary is bigger disaster.



A continuation of Obama's disastrous domestic and foreign policy by Hillary is a "no-go". The Middle East has blown up and thousands of innocents (Christians are in genocide mode) are being slaughtered because of the policies of Obama and Hillary. Just look at Libya? A terrorist hell hole because of them.

I will vote third party. If for some odd reason I decide to vote for one of the major parties if Trump is nominated I will happily vote for Hillary or Bernie over the disastrous Trump.

No doubt Trump is a blowhard, an aggressive businessman, and a player in his younger days. That does not come close to what Hillary has done in the past 30 years. I guarantee Donald Trump cannot be influenced by foreign money. Hillary has been and is for sale to foreigners thru her Clinton Foundation - as we type right now. Never in the history of the USA has suck a corrupt "pay to play" influence peddling scheme brought in so much money. $2 billion in their global network! Extreme corruption.

And this is where I respectfully disagree. A big the chinks are in Trump's armor - he respects the sovereignty of this nation - the Constitution - and protecting out borders from an invasion by a horde of illegals. Hillary does not. She is an open border politician.



I am not a 1 issue person. And, Donald Trump s not my guy - I am voting for Cruz. That said, if Trump does win the GOP nomination, there are a few important points where Trump beats Hillary (IMHO):



1. The Deficit. Trump understands balancing the books and not operating in the red. Hillary has no concept of balancing a budget. I know, Bill Clinton. Remember, it was Newt Gingrich and John Kasich that reigned Bill Clinton in and produced a balanced budget.



2. Border control. Hillary will continue the disastrous open border policy of Obama. It will severely strain and damage our culture, educational systems, medical, judicial/courts, law enforcement (Border Enforcement is a joke), and the economy.



3. Economy. It has got to be turned around and corrected for the American people. I just read the other day we are already heading into another recession. Hillary is a Socialist. The Democrats are Socialists. At least Trump understands running a business.



4. Terrorism - (ISIS) - must be addressed. Obama is ignoring ISIS. He pays lips service only. Hillary will continue Obama's policies. Terrorism is growing like a cancer and spreading it's roots - digging in and getting stronger under Obama. Trump will address this problem.

I also believe that Trump will not leave our soldiers to die without support. There will be no Benghazi with him at the helm. It is a struggle to choice between two evils. I don't trust Trump. Something tells me that he wants Hillary to win and this is just a ruse to kill the GOP and set her up for the win.

I agree, Scott. Trump is a lifelong friend of the Clintons and likely has every intention of helping her win. Even if he doesn't, there's absolutely no evidence that he knows anything at all about not running a deficit, seeing as he often runs his companies into bankruptcy and uses government bailouts to protect his own personal interests.

Trump is the Obamacare candidate.

His statements and positions are so fluid and ever-changing that we essentially will only know what kind of president he is after he is voted into office, because he's been on every side of every issue. We'd have to pass it [elect it] to find out what it truly is.

Well that you could be a conflict of interest. Yes, I am not too impressed by his business sense. Several large bankruptcies. He is very good at self marketing and real estate.

Hawkwing, you're an incredible guy. Will you please tell us all how many facebook "news" stories have you clicked on during your "study" of Trump? Maybe you could share the links so we can see the light and choose to elect a traitorous murderer along with you.



Sometimes I wonder why I spend any time defending Trump. He will obviously say anything to gain support. I think it is more the ignorance in statements like this that I am against. The simple mindedness it takes to accept this internet meme astounds me.



We are arguing about a person who has caused the deaths of millions, who has accepted bribes from Republican presidents as well as Saudi, Israeli, Turkish, and Arab governments while Secretary of State and as Senator. And you are arguing that that person is a better choice than for president because you don't like the fact that Trump has said he will continue the same things the current government and all current candidates also support.

This is absolutely true about Hillary. Her corruption and dishonesty dwarfs any shortcomings Trump has. Hillary was the moving force behind toppling Libya. She and her office denied 600 requests for security at the Libyan Embassy over a 2 year period. And ultimately cause the deaths of 4 Americans. But, then she lied about what caused their deaths - and lied to the grieving parents bout their sons' deaths - and continues to lie. Hillary's actions are so contemptuous and dishonorable. Her consideration for the presidency is beyond comprehension.

I respectfully disagree. Hillary already has had a "shot" at impacting the world as Sec. of State for 4 years under Obama. If you look back at Hillary's impact on the world, it is disastrous and frightening.



1. A peaceful Iraq handed off from the Bush administration to Obama and Hillary. A fledgling democracy that needed protection and time to grow. Result? Today an Iraq that has lost huge chinks of territory, significant oil wells, and important cities to ISIS.

2. Ukraine and the Russian invasion. Horrible.

3. Libya debacle. Hillary was the prime mover to invade and topple Muammar Gadaffi. Yes he was a dictator - but Libya was stable and NOT a refuge for terrorists. Hillary and Obama foolishly removed that stable influence - and critically - have refused to provide the military force necessary to quash the terrorists within. Result? The tragic slaughter of 4 Americans in Benghazi (which Hillary still lies about), and Libya has become a hotbed petri dish for terrorists.

4. Yemen? Al Qaeda terrorists have toppled the govt there. Hmmmm ..... see a pattern?



These few points are off the top of my head. Hillary is disastrous internationally. And you want to make her president?

My point, and it feels as if Mars is on the same wavelength as me (but I'm not claiming to speak for him), is essentially that setting off a stick of dynamite in a city is bad, it causes a lot of destruction and pain and grief. So instead lets not set off a stick of dynamite but instead plant a big old nuclear bomb in the same place and detonate that because so far 1 stick of dynamite has gone off and caused a lot of damage but the nuclear bomb has never gone off so it hasn't caused any damage yet.



In this story, Hillary Clinton is a stick of dynamite and Donald Trump is a nuclear bomb.
