Josh Weeks who was expected to contribute at TE this year may have some troubles to work out before the season. He's been arrested.

Is this when a girl has a legal decree not to be contacted, kind of like a harassment issue, and then the guy violates it? Serious question. I have no insight in Mr. Weeks' situation, but hope it resolves.

That would be my guess. Sad.

Basically someone had a stalking injunction filed against him and he violated it by contacting that person or appearing at a place that was forbidden by the injunction. And it could be messy.

That could jeopardize his enrollment in school as well. Hope he can sort this out without being found guilty or he won't be around this fall.

I was at the bar the other night with my buddy having some beers. We had been there a while when two large girls came up to the bar and ordered some drinks. I noticed when they ordered they both had strong accents so I said ‘Hi, are you two girls from Scotland?’ One of them spoke up, with quite an attitude and said ‘it’s WALES you idiot!!!’



So I immediately said ‘Sorry, are you two Whales from Scotland?’



I'll be out of the hospital in a couple of weeks.

So I'm reading comments on the KSL story and on another message board (so take it for what it is worth) that the back story is an ex-girlfriend called police to report a violation when she saw him, his wife, and parents at a restaurant. Weeks is currently suspended from all football related activity and the KSL story says violating a stalking injunction is a Class A misdemeanor for first-time offenders. Hopefully he gets this explained and resolved soon as it doesn't sound like any kind of malicious activity and won't have any lasting effects on his schooling and career.

I have a nephew who's ex wife contacted him and lured him into responding, then got him thrown into jail for violating a no contact order.



All the advantage goes to the person who got the injunction.

If you know something is illegal, it's best not to do it, even if you think everyone will be cool with it.

All the advantage should be with the person who got the injunction.

If you have a restraining order placed against you, could you also place a restraining order against the person who placed the order? After reading about a few of these cases, it should be a 2 way street. IF you contact the person who you were willing to have a restraining order mandated against, you should face repercussions. Why would you ever need to contact them???

thankfully, I don't know much about these things.

You have to have some cause to do so. It can certainly be possible, but just because someone has one against you may not be sufficient to get one against someone else.
