Travis Tuiloma Injury

Someone on Cougar Board is reporting that Travis Tuiloma has a Lisfrank injury that will keep him out of action into the middle of the season. No source other than "coaching staff" has been provided. Does anyone have any more sustantiated info on this?

Rumors on injuries to players or player suspensions on CougarBoard are almost always true. They never have substantiated info to accompany someone asking about an injury or suspension, but they almost always seem to wind up being accurate.



My guess is we'll hear about an injury to Tuiloma tomorrow.

It will also be interesting to see if Koroma is there for spring or not as well after reports that he ran into issues and would be gone for a year. It should be an interesting week.

Latest I've heard is that Koroma has a set of protocols he can complete to come back for fall ball, but he's seriously considering transferring to VA.

That would suck if he transfers. It seems like everything they've said about him was he was in track to play.



Was bronco ever asked if he knew tuiloma was out before he decided to kick off at the end of the bowl game? That ball never should have been kicked if we knew he wasn't going back out. That kids a stud

So Ben Criddle confirmed that Tuiloma is out with the lis franc injury and that Koroma is out. He did finally confirm that Taysom Hill returning was the good news he teased and Koroma was the bad news he teased on his radio show a while ago.

After practice this morning, Kalani said that they expect Tuiloma to be back for fall ball, and that Tejan's availability is "up to him," indicating he has conditions to meet before he can come back, but could be back in the Summer or Fall.

Criddle just said Koroma won't be there for the spring. Dawe has some reps there, but basically said it is time for some guys who can play C to step up and win the job since Koroma's status is a bit up in the air.
