Big 12 decide that Bowlsby will be the only spokesman.

The conference Board of Directors have agreed that Bowlsby will be the only one who will speak on the subject of expansion, CCG and a TV network.



Appatrently, tgey came to the conclusion that various presidents, ADs and coaches voicing their individual concerns was not productive.



We won't be hearing from Gee or Boren, on the subjects at least, for the next four months. The Chairman of the Board said they wanted to keep private any family squabbles that might arise. He also stated that the presidents share more similarities than differences in their vision for the conference.

Great....so now we'll just hear nothing. Bowlsby has always made it just sound like everything is fine and great in the Big 12, so there is no need to change anything.

This is indicative that they are working on something and have decided that it is unproductive to allow the media to drive things.

Disgruntled coaches and ADs were using the media as a way to pressure the Big 12 into do something. If the Big 12 wasn't doing anything, I doubt they would have agreed to remain silent.
