Sister Taylor - Bennion Hall - Deseret Towers - Head Resident

If any of you lived in Bennion Hall at Deseret Towers back in the day, you probably remember Head Resident Sister Taylor. She was a sweet lady with an iron left-handed fist. An Angel really. She was there before and after Shawn Bradley, Roger and Randy Reid, and Ty Detmer. I know because she saw a really tall skinny kid playing pick-up hoops outside and had him sign several scraps of paper for her kids and grandkids. She was not a wealthy woman, so no basketballs - just scraps of paper. She saw the Reids in the cafeteria and got their autograph too.

She was a season football ticket holder, but really even more of a fan of BYU Basketball. She also was a Secretary in the Art Department back in the 1960's.

She passed away, peacefully in her sleep, in Eagle Mountain this afternoon where she was being administered hospice care in the home of her granddaughter. She was ready and we were prepared.

I will add funeral details later. She will be buried in a family plot near her parents and siblings in South Jordan.
