BYU class of 2013--he lost his scholarship after failing to meet weight and academic requirements set by Bronco and transferred to Idaho State in 2014.

JonRyheem Peoples was charged with a felony count of marijuana distribution last week.

Court records state Peoples committed the violation May 5 in Bannock County, and was charged Jan. 21. Peoples has an arraignment hearing Feb. 4. Peoples was suspended indefinitely by the ISU football team Monday for a violation of the athletic department’s code of conduct. He had been set to be the featured DL in 2016.

Another "What ever happened to......" that I saw some updates on is once committed to BYU WR Hayden Weichers. Another Class of 2013 member who received an scholarship offer to both BYU and USU when he returned from a mission. In December 2012, USU had a scholarship open up and he jumped at the chance to play right away. He never served a mission and ran into legal issues with solicitation, sexual battery, and drug charges which resulted in his dismissal from USU. In July 2015, he pled guilty and was sentenced to 2 weeks in jail.



It looks like he is finally getting all that behind him though. While looking at Jonah Trinnaman's info at Snow College I noticed that Weichers was on Snow's football team last year as a sophomore, playing in 7 games making 3 catches for 27 years, 1 rush for 2 yards, and returned 7 kicks for 35 total yards.



Whether his football career continues is anyone's guess as his JC numbers aren't head-turning. I hope things continue on a positive line in his life regardless.
