Good news is it can only get better.

And just a day after tweeting how great it was to be home in Provo.

I'll have to admit that I've never had the level of unreported damage to my personal cars that I have faced living in Utah County these last 14 years. In each case, no one has ever left a note and I can't believe they were all oblivious to this happening as a few times the damage was more than just opening a door and dinging the side of my door. Most of my life I've lived east of the Mississippi and unbelievably my experience had been that people seem to stand up more to their responsibilities in similar incidents.



That makes no sense to me and I've never been able to reconcile this fact in my mind.



It goes to help us see how close we have drawn as a society to anarchy if there are the apparent number of LDS folks out there that are failing to stand up to the bar when they do wrong. I'm not saying that all LDS are better people by no means. Please don't get that understanding from my words, but you can't go to the same Church I go to and not understand 100% that if you scrape another car, even accidentally, you are required per your standard of conduct to take responsibility.



Squally's damage had to be known by the perpetrator, unless he parked it in some area where snow equipment was responsible for what resulted as they may or may not be aware of damaged caused.

Looks like a mustang. Has anyone checked frdbtr's ride for a white paint transfer?

I've lived in Utah Country for 30 years and had several incidents where people left notes. The one time my vehicle was damaged and no note was left, I was up in Salt Lake Country at the Cheesecake Factory.

Maybe they went to put a note on the windshield, but fumbled?

The windshiled is like 3 feet away from the bumper. Most people won't fumble within a single yard when it is really really important

I've owned a car in Utah county for over 20 years and have never had any damage done to my vehicle that would require the leaving of a note.

Let me clarify then, I've never had any damage done to my car that required anything more than a car wash and wax.



Check that, I did get a rock chip on the free way from a car that kicked up a pebble. I can't fault them for not leaving a note on that one though.

Only accident I have ever been in was in Provo and it was several years after graduating. Some student rushing back from a final dropped the hammer on the gas to make it through a yellow light. Fortunately, it was a rental car and I had full insurance. I always get full insurance on rental cars when traveling to Utah.



I have never driven along the I-15 stretch between Provo and SLC without seeing at least one accident. I made the commute everyday for over a year. By comparison, I had an hour commute in the Bay Area for over a year and maybe saw an accident every few weeks.



Not the best drivers out there.

Problem there is there is a bunch of young people going everywhere and in a hurry to get there and there is a bunch of old people going nowhere and in no rush to get there. Utah drivers, no matter what you think are awesome drivers compared to those is southern Florida.



Also around Orlando on I-4, during the day, is constantly in a state of stop-and-creep. Yes there is construction, but tourists must put their brains in a uber-stoopie mode when they get out of the airport.

Driving in post-Katrina New Orleans has everything beat. It's like I Am Legend meets Sharknado (the 2nd one).

Haha! I actually have. That stretch from Ft. Lauderdale to Miami I have driven a few times. It is worse than I-15.



I admit, all the tolls throw me off when I drive in Florida.
