TCU Suspends Lead QB for Just Damn Dumb Stupidty

It's your senior year and you're leading you college team into your final college football game and if you do well, it might give you a boost in the NFL draft. Two more days, then it's time for you to shine, to show everybody just how good you are.



So, what do you do:

A. Study footage of the opponent to get a foot up on them.

B. Get plenty of sleep.

C. Stay focus by a healthy diet.

D. If the police request you to do something, remember the Nike logo and just do it.

E. Go barring early in the morning, get drunk, get involved in a bar fight, hit a bar employee, be told by the police to stop, and then hit a policeman in the face.



If you chose E, the most obvious, you are right...that is if you are Trevone Boykin, star quarterback for TCU, which is preparing for the Alamo Bowl this Saturday.



Not only did he do that, but he decided to face punch the policeman at 1:57 a.m. and by showing all his leadership qualities, he was charged with

1. Assault on a public servant (3rd degree felony),

2. Public intoxication, AND

3. Resisting arrest.



And as a result of this maturity driven actions, he was duly awarded with

a. $5,000 bond

b. Be suspended from the team.

Now, why can't our star qb do such exciting things. TM probably is in bed by 9 every night, reads his scriptures before going to bed and his strongest drink is either A&W Root Beer or decaffeinated Dr. Pepper.

It's been a great week for athletes. This, the Memphis kid beating up the ball boy, the Knicks player getting jumped after rolling out of the strip club at 4:00 a.m. with his girl and my personal favorite the Knicks player that took two ladies home and woke up missing $600k in swag and not knowing their names. DFish needs to teach his boys the James Bond trick of only hooking up with married women.

Dude not only got jumped, but also got capped in the knee, though no major damage was done. One lucky dude.

According to ESPN, he was in his room at midnight--but then left again to hit the bar. The stupidity just gets worse and worse.

Experience has taught me there are 2 things that are unlimited and always expanding:

1. The universe.

2. The arrogant stupidity of athletes.

Wait, wait, wait!!!l It even gets better. Supposedly he left the bar, but he came back to seek revenge.

And TCU didn't even need him to win the bowl game. His draft stock continues to sink.
