BYU Player Ratings Through Northern Iowa

I was at a family reunion at a lodge in remote Idaho with no cable/satellite/Internet (seriously, that's gotta be a crime for a sports fan!!) for a week+ so that means I missed the 3 Hawaii games. But I did get to attend the Central Michigan game!!



Here are how the players have performed so far:

I have to agree that we are already at the point with our losses that we must win the conference tourney to get into the big dance. Sad that we're at this point and conference play hasn't even started! I think we beat Gonzaga once but lose at least 4 conference games...

I don't agree with the oft repeated pinion that winning the conference tournament is the only way to get an auto bid. That is the only guaranteed way for any team to get into the tourney, true.



But winning the wcc would nearly get the same result. Having said that, byu must likely does not win the wcc conference and WILL need to win the tournament. Tonight will be a huge first test for byu on the road to winning the conference season title. Hoping that byu doesn't come out slow and timid as they often do on the road (and sometimes at home).

Again, thanks for posting this Byufan. I missed them while you were in the Lord's country. I used to live in a cabin in remote Idaho as a kid. The valley has been discovered and no longer qualifies. Where did you go?

I move irrigation pipe for four summers in the Grace/Bancroft area. I love that country.
