The new coach is . . .

Nothing has been announce yet but the twitter world is saying it is KS. I hope he is at the game and giving BM the KW inside scoop to help us win.



Maybe the announcement will happen pre or post game today.



Also I'm hearing the poly world is blowing up on this and excited to send their kids to the Y.

IF true, I hope he is a good one. I can't imagine the weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth that will go on and the divide it will create between BYU and the polys if he is fired after having some bad years. Think Vai is bad now? Wait till he starts publishing his anti-BYU tilt due to the unreasonable expectations BYU had for a poly coach.



It has the potential to get ugly. Time will tell.

I guess the prodigal son has come home. Two immediate benefits I see is he will be really good for recruiting, especially with the Polynesians, and he'll take the rivalry seriously. Most say he's a great motivator too. Those who got tired of Bronco's emotionless face will get something very different.



Doubts and questions aside, we all need to get behind the new HC. Hopefully he chooses his staff well. And we need to keep in mind their first year will be BYU's toughest schedule ever.

Congratulations. Good new HC for the Cougars. We hate to see him leave. Oregonlive has contacted most of the Polynesian recruits and at this time they appear to be staying. We never had a chance for Handsome, hope you get him. My entire family on my dads side were Cougars including past HC and AD Eddie Kimball. Good luck.

Great first post. Thanks for the info!!! Come more often. If I was going to cheer someone in the PAC12 it would be OSU. (and anyone playing utah)

Outside of his lack of HC experience this is my biggest concern with him. I didn't want Ken because he was so prominent outside of BYU and with the whole meet the Mormons thing. If it didn't work out it'd be bad.



I'm excited for Sitaki but there will always be part of the fan base that's isn't happy and first time head coaches have a tall task. It could work out great or not.....

I'm glad the page has been turned. No more Bronco and Anae bashing. Close that book and move forward. Coach Sitake will have my full support. I hope the Asst. hiring goes smoothly - we have some big holes to fill for coaching staff.

The coordinators are key hires now. I hope the budget is increased so that we can make good moves. A brand new head coach needs some experienced guys to help him. Monday will be an announcement. I hope we make a splash.
