SchmoeSo, enough coach talk; time for the rivalry.
On Monday we had our work Christmas party. As part of the party, there was an ugly sweater contest. One of my coworkers was wearing a :utard: beanie, so I playfully said to him "Hey, you were supposed to wear an ugly sweater, not an ugly hat."
His response, "Oh, I only root for the U because they accepted me. I applied to BYU, too."
I had to bite my lip and stifle a laugh, because I had only heard this kind of thing in rivalry jokes and BYU legends. Good stuff.
Any other good stories from this week (or any rivalry week)? Whaddya got?
