Having given up rushing yards like there's no tomorrow, University of Idaho to rename its linebackers "ushers." MU=Middle Usher etc. "We felt it was a more accurate description of what these players do," a university spokesman said.



He's out he's in--FL's Meyer gives new meaning to the term "Urban Renewal."



HS Napolitano declares "system worked" after botched bombing attempt; Hearing of this, BCS tenders lucrative offer to the Madam Secretary to leave govt work and become BCS's spokesman. "This is spin we can respect!"



Back to the airplane bomber. Reportedly his dad is a prominent Nigerian banker who tried to tell intelligence services about his son....I suspect the problem is that when he got on the phone and got to "I am a prominent Nigerian banker..." they hung up on him thinking he was one of those Nigerian crooks who has all of this money to get out of the country....

Some Gainesville government official must be living right on and off the field... Urban Flight and Urban Renewal in the same day!

I couldn't believe when I read in the news a couple months ago that a lady (I think in Oregon) got duped out of $200,000 by that scheme over a few months. All her friends were telling her it was a scam and she would show them the "legitimate" paperwork they would send to her after each of her checks that they cashed.

I teach a course on fraud examination and this scam has been going on for a long time and is still in the top 10 nationwide. If anyone does not believe it go to youtube and watch the exposes.
