KWhitt is playing Utah. Why publicly mention he's talking to BYU? If he was serious about taking the job, he'd keep it under the wraps. Either he's using it as a means to string Utah along or he's using it as a way to taunt BYU fans.

There is a picture on Twitter of Kyle and Holmoe talking from this morning at the SLC airport. So the only thing we know is that Kyle and Holmoe have in fact talked. We don't know what they talked about, but Kyle has "listened to" BYU.

That's not Holmoe. It's a guy who looks a bit like Holmoe from behind. Pretty sure Holmoe doesn't work for Qualtrics, and Holmoe's only an inch or two taller than KWhitt....the guy in the twit-pic is towering over KWhitt.

Holy hell....you're absolutely right--you can even see the Y on Santiago's polo. That absolutely has to be a chance encounter---no way Holmoe or Whittingham is dumb enough to meet like that.

Yeah, what I originally said was in jest, but I bet they're both flying down to Vegas for a bowl thing. Tom and Kyle are friends. I bet if someone hangs around, Bronco shows up too.

I have this feeling I can't explain. When I first heard the idea of KWhitt coming to BYU I dismissed it immediately, that he wouldn't go for it and I wouldn't want him.



But looking at this picture I feel different. It reminds me of something I said in another thread about players who chose not to go to BYU, and I used Haloti Ngata. But the truth is if he wanted to come and coach our D-line I would be thrilled to have him, and I would see him choosing BYU as enough to forgive the pain from the earlier rejection.



This picture makes me think I could feel the same about KWhitt if he chose to leave Utah for BYU.



Then again, if he turns us down, I will hope they lose all their games.

Interesting to see where Harbaugh is giving such great credit to Anderson for Stanford's success ... and that he now wants Anderson to go to Michigan. That makes it tougher to get him.
