Help Ute Nation GET TAYSOM HILL to come play quarterback at THE UNIVERSITY OF UTAH!
Time to band together again Utah football fans. We did it in the preseason to get "UTAH" put up on the fieldhouse at Rice-Eccles. Now we need to do it again to get one of the best quarterbacks around.
All donations will go to get billboards put up at the point of the mountain and to set up a recruiting website - all of which will be dedicated to getting Taysom Hill to come to the University of Utah to play quarterback!
IMAGINE the possibilites with Taysom under center for the Utes... PAC12 title? College Football Playoff? Heisman?
Let's show Taysom Hill just how much Ute Nation would love him to suit up in red and that he's even loved north of the point of the mountain!

A LETTER TO TAYSOM â Let me be the first to offer you an invitation to come play football for the University of Utah. Next year, youâll be a college graduate and thus able to transfer to any school in the country that you want. (See Oregon: Adams, Vernon.)
The Utah media, BYU alums, and very subtly, the BYU football program itself, has made it clear that itâs time to move on. The Tanner Mangum era is in full effect, and while you are the better QB, it would hurt BYUâs future to make him sit next year. Bronco would never publicly say that, because he loves you, but everyone else is. (See link below)

Do you really want to be in a battle for the starting position next year at BYU? Youâve proven to be an elite QB. You donât deserve to be looking over your shoulder your last season of college athletics. Or worse, forced to move to a different position. You deserve better. Come to Salt Lake, and trade in teams like UConn, East Carolina and Wagner, for teams like Oregon, Michigan, UCLA and USC. Jim Harbaugh knew what he was doing when he recruited you to Stanford Taysom. And for the record, so did Kyle Whittingham when he recruited you to Utah. You are an exceptional talent. You deserve the chance to compete at the highest levels college football has to offer. It doesnât get much higher than the PAC 12.
Youâll be playing in arguably the best conference in the nation and youâll be playing quarterback for one of the best teams in the PAC. The Utes happen to be the proud owners of the title, âMost physical team in the PAC 12,â bestowed by Kyle Whittinghamâs fellow PAC12 head coaches. Utah also lays claim to the best defense in PAC 12 and one of the best in the country overall. They have the best special teams in the country. And lest we forget, Utah is about to bring in itâs best recruiting class ever. So what does all of this mean?
Imagine for a moment Taysom, the 1-2 punch that you would bring to the Utes. You, earning the way to New York City with Heisman campaign as you beat your PAC12 foes. A Heisman candidate in a prestigious conference, no longer lost in the darkness of independence, running an offense with more speed and size on the offensive line and backfield than youâve ever played with. (Exept for maybe that rb you had, #42, that dude was jacked.) Imagine an offense, with the biggest and most physical offensive line in the PAC, with one of the strongest running games behind them, now suddenly lethal with you at the helm and a defense maybe even more potent. It would be incredible.
I donât think anyone would disagree if I said Utah would be undefeated this year with you leading the charge. And do you know where that puts you Mr. Hill? Smack in the middle of the College Football Playoff. Fall short of that, your consolation prize is a conference championship in one of the most historic conferences in the nation and trip to the Rose Bowl to finish the season at âThe Grandaddy of Them All.â Welcome to the PAC 12 and the Power 5 Taysom. Your time at BYU was amazing. Even us Utah fans bowed our heads in respect over the last few years while we watched you play, and then bowed again even lower when you were injured this past season. Weâve oft daydreamed of what it would be like to have you as the quarterback of our squad. The sky would literally be the limit. The truth is Taysom, red or blue, you are loved throughout Utah.
So why not forgo the advances of colleges nationwide? Why not stay in Utah, just at a slightly different address? Give it a shot one more time, just down the street, and this time in the PAC 12, where youâre still close to all of your in-state ties, and with one of the best fan bases in the country. A Utah Utes fan base that already knows you and respects you. A fan base that would go absolutely bonkers to have you, and at a school that would undoubtedly become a national title contender with you as their starting QB.
