Notre Dame & Oklahoma

I know the hope of a BYU getting into the Big12 is slim at best, but we need Notre Dame to win and Oklahoma to lose. If Oklahoma gets into the playoffs the big12 will never expand.

Well Notre Dame lost and all hopes of them getting into the playoffs and blocking Oklahoma is now over. That sucks!

And Oklahoma is pounding Oklahoma State.

Wow double whammy, Oklahoma State no showed against Oklahoma. It would almost be impossible for Oklahoma and the Big12 to not get into the playoffs.

Major bummer that ND lost. I'm still a big fan of BCS/P5/CFP chaos. It'd be great to see both the pac and big12 left out.

Really the only chance of keeping OU out of the playoffs is if the Committee wants their message to get across that they want the Big12 to have a playoff game and locks them out this year. Could happen if they're ready to push that fight with the B12. Probably won't, but the B12 doesn't seem to be falling in line on their own so its possible.

The only way the Big12 would be left out of the playoff again this year is if its champion was TCU or Baylor. Oklahoma or Texas would never get left out, maybe even with 2 losses. A 1 loss TCU or Baylor ranked in the top 5 would be left out of the playoff IMO.
