Despite being drafted 2nd in the D-League draft, Jimmer has signed with New Orleans, so he's back in the NBA.

Pretty good temp agency gig Jimmer has going on. I am sure life could be worse, but I would love to seem him find a way to solidify his place in the league.

Jimmer signed a roster spot for a hardship waiver, which lets teams who have 4 or more injured players go over the 15 roster spot limit. It only lasts as long as there are 4 or more injured players.

He's going to need to make the most of any minutes he gets. As soon as one of the four injured players is healthy, it's back to the D league. He needs to make a case to the Knicks that they need to bring him up sooner rather than later.

Jimmer can actually be signed by any NBA team, not just the Knicks.

True, but if he goes back to D-League, it's only with the Knickerbockers.

Knicks have an open spot and rumors are before he signed with the Pelicans, he was gunning for that spot. Yes, any team can sign him, but the Knicks are his best hope of a more permanent home.
